2024 saw the the NC HS Club Beach Playoffs split over two weekends. On Saturday, May 4th the Boys Best Pairs competition, featuring 12 pairs selected from across the state, kicked things off with Northwest Guilford (Luke Dunn and Caleb Williams) beating out Apex (Cooper Butler and Dylan Moore) in the finals.

Friday evening, May 10th saw the Girls Best Pairs with 21 pairs selected to compete. In the finals Northwest Guilford (Morgan Lowman and Ava Toland) won the title over West Forsyth (Hadley Lichty and Aurora Rosa).

The State Playoffs were capped off on Saturday, May 11th with the Best Club competition featuring 9 school clubs (each club had 3 girls pairs) playing in duels. Reagan HS from the Triad area came home with title, beating out Topsail HS from the Wilmington area in the finals.

Congratulations to all participants and thanks to all who helped complete another HS beach season across North Carolina!

The first weekend of May 2023 saw the culmination of another NC HS Club Beach season featuring close to 50 high school clubs scattered across North Carolina. State Playoffs were held at Southern Sand VB in Apex, NC. Congratulations to the top finishers:

Best Club – West Forsyth (Champs), Topsail (Runners-up)

Best Girls Pair – Richards/Kozak -West Forsyth (Champs), Amber/Duggan – New Bern (Runners-up)

Best Boys Pair – Lichty/Lamoureaux – West Forsyth (Champs), Cordray/Trainum Reagan (Runners-up)

The site for the 2019 State Playoffs held over May 10-11,2019 has been selected. The playoffs will be hosted at Southern Sand Volleyball located at 6175 Old Jenks Rd, Apex, NC. Southern Sand Volleyball offers a variety of junior and adult programs at a 10 court facility. The anticipated schedule of play (subject to change) will be:

• Friday, May 10: 5PM-9:30PM: Best Girls and Boys Pairs Competition
  • Featuring the best individual high school doubles beach volleyball teams from across the conferences that make up the NCHSSVA
  • Teams are made up of players from the same club
• Saturday, May 11: 8:30AM-2PM: Best Club Competition
  • Featuring the best clubs (3 girls teams from each participating club) from across the conferences.
  • Subject to interest a boys best conference competition will also be offered featuring 3 boys teams from the same conference facing off against other conference teams.

The 2018 season saw again over 50 schools from across the state of North Carolina participate.

The 2018-2019 season will have registration open up in the Fall 2018 with the competition season in the Spring.

The site for the 2018 State Playoffs held on the weekend of May 19-20 has been selected. The playoffs will be hosted at Capt’n Bills located at 4240 Market St in Wilmington, NC. Capt’n Bills is a longtime hub for beach volleyball in and around Wilmington, featuring a restaurant and 10 sand volleyball courts. Wilmington Volleyball will serve as tournament director for the playoffs.

The 2017 season saw again over 50 schools from across the state of North Carolina participate.
